Starting the exhaust hanger servicing and exhaust system support requires first supporting and lifting the vehicle body. The technician must first remove the front exhaust hanger from its position on the rear suspension hanger rod. Then apply suitable lubricant to the exhaust pipe hanger rod to simplify hanger removal. After applying lubrication to the exhaust pipe hanger rod you should separate the front exhaust hanger from it. The body support bracket rod and tail pipe hanger rod require lubrication to make removal of the tail pipe hanger easier. After application of lubricant you can separate the hanger from both rods. The body support bracket rod and tail pipe hanger and tail pipe hanger rod need a soapy solution for installation in order to simplify the process. Place the tail pipe hanger at the first over the tail pipe hanger rod and then at the second over the body support bracket rod . Treat the exhaust pipe hanger rod and both holes of the front exhaust hanger with soapy solution before sliding the front hanger across the exhaust pipe hanger rod then the rear suspension hanger rod . Finally, lower the vehicle.
