GMC Envoy XL Parts

GMC released the Envoy XL as a longer variation of the GMC Envoy for customers in 2004. The Envoy XL shared its development framework with its counterparts at Chevrolet TrailBlazer and Oldsmobile Bravada to grow GMC markets in the mid-size SUV segment. The Vortec 4200 4.2L inline-6 gained Ward's 10 Best Engines recognition from 2002 to 2005 when installed in the Envoy XL instead of the previous 4.3L V6 engine. The engine system provided good performance metrics alongside fuel efficiency and brought strong performance to the vehicle. The Envoy XL came with an automatic four-speed transmission which offered smooth gear changes to increase driving performance. The stretch of 129 inches allowed the Envoy XL to extend its interior dimensions so that it included a third seating row and provided comfortable passenger travel. The GMC Envoy XL featured an elevated roof design to enhance access to the third-row seating positions. Stabilitrak stability control and cruise control and tire pressure monitoring system joined the vehicle lineup in 2006 to improve driving comfort and safety features of the GMC Envoy XL. The GMC Envoy XL stood out because it featured standard four-wheel ABS together with airbags for protecting both the driver and passenger. When the GMC Envoy XL ended production in 2009 it retained its reputation of quality operation through the availability of original manufacturer parts needed to meet GMC factory requirements.
