The Antenna Cable replacement process starts with removing the rear seat cushion followed by the rear seat back and left rear quarter lower panel and final step involves removing the left rear upper quarter trim panel. Start the replacement by disconnecting the Antenna Cable from the radio antenna module while lowering the rear section of the headliner. Begin by taking out two pieces of trim that include the lower center pillar and left lower pillar garnish. The carpet should be adjusted to provide clearance for accessing either the Antenna Cable or body harness. The installation process requires the Antenna Cable to detach from the antenna extension cable. Secondly, use scissors to cut off both Antenna Cable ends from the wiring harness at the lower pillar garnish molding and rear header area. The Antenna Cable installation requires electrical tape to secure it onto the wiring harness top at least every 150 mm (6 in). Next attach the Antenna Cable to the antenna extension cable and return the carpet and lower center pillar trim panel alongside the left lower pillar garnish molding. The Antenna Cable needs installation to the radio antenna module before reinstalling the same sequence of components including headliner and left rear upper quarter trim panel followed by left rear quarter lower trim panel before returning the rear seat back and rear seat cushion.

Top start to replace the coaxial cable for the navigation and cellular telephone antenna begins with the removal of the rear seat cushion, rear seat back, lower pillar trim panel, left rear quarter lower panel, and left rear upper quarter trim panel. Lower the back side of the headliner and remove the Antenna Cable from the radio antenna module. Pull off the lower center pillar trim panel and adjust the carpet to access the Antenna Cable and body harness if necessary. Next, one should remove the left instrument panel (I/P) compartment access hole cover and disconnect the Antenna Cable from the antenna extension cable. Trim the aerial cables visible at the kick panel end and the rear header end off from the wiring harness in the kick panel and rear header regions. For installation, clamp the new Antenna Cable to the vehicle using electrical tape, and have it connected to the wiring harness at least every 150mm(6 in). Mount the left Antenna Cable to the antenna extension cable, and then replace the left i/p compartment access hole cover, carpet, and lower center pillar trim panel, and connect the Antenna Cable to the radio antenna module. Lastly, reattach the headliner, and the left rear upper quarter trim panel, left rear quarter lower panel, lower pillar trim panel on the left, rear seat back on the left, and rear seat cushion.

Connect the antenna extension cable from the radio to the antenna cable and reinstall the left lower pillar garnish molding along with the left I/P insulator.

Reinstall the headliner, left rear upper quarter trim panel, left rear quarter lower trim panel, rear seat back, and finally, the rear seat cushion.

Remove the lower center pillar trim panel and adjust the carpet for access to the antenna cable and body harness.
