How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor without Variable Camshaft Phasing on Chevrolet Aveo? Posted by Customer
    A:
You must disconnect the negative Battery Cable as the first step to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor without variable camshaft phasing. Begin by taking out engine cover bolts and nuts before extracting the engine cover. Disconnect the cmp sensor electrical connector while you remove the timing belt front cover. Start by mounting the cmp sensor alongside the bolt then tighten the cmp sensor bolts to 7 nm (62 lb in). After installing the timing belt front cover reconnect the cmp sensor electrical connector and put back the engine cover. Reconnect the final negative Battery Cable.
