Start by taking off the console storage bin to access the replacement work. Start by removing the 2 front fasteners which secure the console assembly to the floor and then push your front seats to their maximum forward position before removing the 2 rear side fasteners that bind the console assembly to the floor. Disconnect the electrical connector then lift the console assembly before removing the entire console unit. After connecting the electrical connector users must align the console assembly to floor mounting holes. Fasten assembly fasteners (2,3) on the console assembly while tightening them to 10 N.m (89 lb in). To finish the installation process install the console storage bin.
