    A: In order to change the transmission fluid auxiliary Oil Cooler on the 4l60-e automatic transmission, first, detach the grille assembly. Next, you should unscrew the two nuts that keep the cooler lines on to the Transmission Oil Cooler, and then remove the four bolts strewn around that hold the auxiliary Transmission Oil Cooler to the radiator support, and then remove the auxiliary Transmission Oil Cooler. For installation start by tightening the four bolts used to attach the Transmission Oil Cooler to the radiator support, where the bolts should fit at 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Next, screw on the two nuts to connect the cooler lines to the auxiliary Transmission Oil Cooler and you tighten with 23 nm (17 ft. Lbs.). Finally, reinstall the grille assembly.
