Service the tail lamp by flipping off the headlamp switch followed by opening each rear door. To service the tail lamp start by removing the body-mounting screws then separate the electrical connector from the back of the tail lamp by pressing the connector tang while turning the bulb and base before you disengage the socket's adhesive. The service process begins with removing bulbs from their corresponding sockets. During bulb installation apply lithium grease lightly to each socket until you fit the bulbs back into their sockets. Secure the lamp sockets into the tail lamp back before placing the tail lamp onto the vehicle body. Make sure to tighten the screw mountings for the tail lamp until they reach 3 n.m (27 lb in).
