Fitting the hook end of the seal remover (J 45278) and slide hammer with bearing adapter (J 23907) next to the seal lip and shaft allows you to turn the hook 60 degrees for safe seal removal. Clear the input shaft area and seal region from any leftover seal material by using solvent. To install a new input seal start by utilizing the driver handle (J 8092) along with the input seal installer (J 46269). Finally, reinstall the Transfer Case.
