How to replace the LH Blend Door Actuator on 2006 Cadillac SRX?

Start by removing the instrument panel (I/P) carrier followed by unfastening left air temperature actuator screws and harness screw. Disconnect the electrical connector from the actuator and extract the actuator itself. Reinstallation begins with the harness screw tight at 1 N.m (9 lb in) followed by connecting the electrical connector and screwing in the actuator screws with a 1 N.m (9 lb in) torque specification. Finally return the instrument panel (I/P) carrier. After disconnecting the electrical connector from the actuator the component should be removed. Set the new left air temperature actuator into position while securing it with the harness screw and tighten to 1 N.m (9 lb in). After connecting the electrical connector to the actuator position it next to the screws and tighten both pieces to 1 N.m (9 lb in). The instrument panel (I/P) carrier should be reinstalled following the procedure.
