2009 GMC Acadia Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor for Bank 2 (Left Side) Exhaust on 2009 GMC Acadia?
A: You must remove the engine mount strut bracket before starting the Camshaft Position Sensor for Bank 2 (Left Side) Exhaust replacement process. Disconnect the bank 2 exhaust CMP sensor from its wiring harness electrical connector before removing its bolt along with the sensor itself. The installation of CMP sensor and bolt requires torque tightening the bolt up to 10 Nm (89 lb in). After completing the above steps the engine wiring harness electrical connector must be attached to the bank 2 exhaust CMP sensor and reinstallation of the engine mount strut bracket will finish the process.
