The first step before replacing the v6 power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose includes draining as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir while placing drain pans under the vehicle. The power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose requires loosening the clamp before disconnecting the hose from the reservoir. The next step involves removing the right front tire together with its wheel assembly. The power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose clamp needs loosening again before disconnecting the hose between power steering fluid reservoir and Power Steering Pump . Move the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the clips (when used) then remove the hose from the vehicle. Put the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose into place inside the vehicle and attach it to the clips where present. Install the Power Steering Reservoir outlet hose onto the Power Steering Pump while tightening the clamp unit . Install the right front wheel assembly followed by attachment of the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the power steering fluid reservoir. Secure the connection with the clamp. First remove all power steering fluid traces from the vehicle then drain all fluid from the pans before refilling the power steering system while bleeding it.
