How to replace the door check link on 2010 Chevrolet Aveo?

You need to start door check link replacement by taking out the door trim panel. Before continuing move the door seal trim aside while you work to take off the bolts that sustain the door to the body framework. You must then remove the door hold open check from the procedure. Start by mounting the door hold open check between door and body by using bolts and then torque the door hold open check-to-body bolts to 35 Nm (26 lb ft) while the door hold open check-to-door bolts should be torqued to 5 Nm (44 lb in). Reinstall the door seal trim after which you should install the door trim panel.
