How to service the Cabin Air Filter on 2011 Cadillac SRX?

Service access to the passenger compartment air filter begins with totally opening the glove box to remove the upper screws. After unscrewing the upper glove box portion users should lower it for access to the service door leading to the air filter. Untie the two service door retaining latches then lower the service door. Replace the old air filter by installing the new one. Finally tighten the glove box upper section by reinstalling it after you secure the service door latches.
