The first step for installation requires you to position the cooling Fan Shroud correctly while using the proper fastener in its designated location since new fasteners must bear the same part number for that specific application. The service procedure details fastener replacement requirements as well as specifies when thread locking compound or sealants need to be used. Fasteners and their joint surfaces must remain free of paints, lubricants and corrosion inhibitors since these items can affect torque along with clamping force leading to damage of the fastener. It is necessary to follow correct tightening guidelines together with specifications to protect both parts and systems from damage.
