To service the door switch, make sure that you find the jamb switch hidden on the left side of the instrument panel. Squeeze the two pieces of the switch together and guide it into a hole in the instrument panel. Take out the door jamb switch from the car and disengage the electrical connection first. Join the electrical connector of the door jamb switch, press the tangs together and insert the switch through the side of the instrument panel.
