How to replace the Fuse Box Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable Junction Block on GMC Savana 2500?

Before changing the battery positive cable extension cable junction block you must disconnect the auxiliary battery negative cable. Begin by removing the positive extension cable nut installed on the junction block then disconnect the cable from its place. The first step requires the removal of both the air cleaner assembly along with the air cleaner outlet duct. First disconnect the positive extension cable from the intake air heater while you remove its nut. Users need to eliminate wiring harness clips and uninstall battery positive cover and ubec (Underhood bused electrical center). Toward the end of the process remove the positive extension cable nut fastened to the ubec terminal stud before extracting the positive extension cable. The positive extension cable installation requires placing the cable into position while attaching wiring harness clips according to fastener guidelines. Secure the positive extension cable onto the ubec terminal stud by screwing the nut to 9 nm (80 lb in). The battery positive cover should be installed on the ubec before connecting the positive extension cable to the intake air heater while tightening the nut to 4 nm. Install the air cleaner outlet duct along with the air cleaner assembly. The positive extension cable requires attachment to the junction block with its cable nut secured at 8 nm torque while reattaching the negative Battery Cable.
