    To service and repair the cruise control servo initiate by first removing the cover of the cruise control module . Loosen the cruise control servo cable locknut and remove cheek the cruise control servo cable from the cruise control servo assembly. Pull out the cruise control servo assembly from the car, by first removing the 3 bolts and removing the electrical connector from the cruise control servo assembly. For installation, fasten the cruise control servo assembly back to the vehicle using the 3 bolts and tighten them to 10 N.m (89 lb ft). Reconnect the electrical connector to the servo assembly of the cruise control and connect the cruise control servo cable to the cruise control actuator lever. Adjust the cruise control servo cable locknuts so that the cruise control servo cable play should be between 1 and 2mm (0.04-0.08 in) while the throttle is closed and tighten the cruise control cable locknut to a torque of 5 N.m (44 lbint). Lastly, replace the cruise control module cover.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the cruise control servo assembly after which secure the cruise control servo cable to the cruise control actuator lever. Tighten the cruise control cable locknut to 5 N.m (44 lb in) after you adjust the cruise control servo cable locknuts until a 1-2 mm (0.04-0.08 in) cable play remains at the servo's closed throttle position. Reposition the cruise control module cover as the last installation step.
