Mount the j 2619-01 (J 2619-01) slide hammer and adapter and the ch-48107 (CH-48107) bushing remover and installer and place them on the lower Control Arm Bushing. Utilize the j 2619-01 (J 2619-01) and ch-48107 (CH-48107) to remove the front lower Control Arm Bushing, and then ch-48107 (CH-48107) to remove the rear lower Control Arm Bushing with j 5590 (J 5590) installer and remover. For installation, align the front and rear bushings in the Control Arm, then align the ch-48107 (CH-48107) on the front bushing. Squeeze the front and rear bushings in the vise until seated, then retrieve the lower Control Arm from the vice, and remove the ch-48107 (CH-48107) from the front bushing before you install the lower Control Arm back in the vehicle.

Position the lower Control Arm Bushing under the bushing remover and installer (CH-48107) then slide in the adapter (J 2619-01) and slide hammer (J 2619-01) combination. Start by using the slide hammer with adapter (J 2619-01) and the bushing remover and installer (CH-48107) to remove the front lower Control Arm Bushing and finish the job with an installation and removal tool (J 5590). Seat the front and rear bushings evenly into the Control Arm before using the bushing remover and installer (CH-48107) to press the front bushing and then compressing both bushings with the vise for proper installation. Once finished using the bushing remover and installer (CH-48107) on the front bushing continue by placing the lower Control Arm back into the vehicle.

Place the lower Control Arm into a soft-jawed vise before moving forward. Position both tools j 2619-01 (Slide Hammer and Adapter) and ch-48107 (Bushing Remover and Installer) onto the lower Control Arm Bushing. Apply the j 2619-01 (Slide Hammer and Adapter) with ch-48107 (Bushing Remover and Installer) to eliminate the front lower Control Arm Bushing next you must use the j 5590 (Installer and Remover) to eliminate the rear lower Control Arm Bushing. Place the front and rear bushings at equal points along the Control Arm prior to installing the ch-48107 (Bushing Remover and Installer) on the front bushing. After compressing the bushings in the vise until they settle into position, remove the lower Control Arm from the vise and remove the ch-48107 (Bushing Remover and Installer) from the front bushing. Set the lower Control Arm back into its position within the vehicle.

    In order to replace the front low Control Arm Bushing, remove front low Control Arm assembly and hold it in a soft jawed vise. Assemble the j 2619-01 slide hammer and adapter (J 2619-01) along with the ch-48107 bushing remover and installer (CH-48107) and align it on the lower Control Arm Bushing to take out the front lower Control Arm Bushing. Finally, remove the rear lower Control Arm Bushing with the help of j 5590 installer and remover (J 5590). For installation, comment from the Control Arm and set the front and rear bushings at an equal distance in the Control Arm then install the ch-48107 on the front bushing. Press both bushings together using the vise to ensure they are firmly pressed in, take the lower Control Arm out of the vise and then take off the ch-48107 from the front bushing when reinstalling the lower Control Arm in the vehicle.
