The installation requires park brake cable connector removal from the park brake cable equalizer before extracting the rear park brake cable. Begin the installation by attaching the new rear park brake cable followed by mounting the park brake cable conduit onto the rear frame assembly bracket while making sure locking tabs completely secure. Following the installation of the right rear park brake cable to the bracket ensure its locking tabs are fully engaged before you connect the rear park brake cable fitting to the park brake cable equalizer. Install the park brake cable eye to the park brake actuator lever and return the exhaust system and right rear tire and wheel assembly. Set the electric park brake cable tension as the final step in the process.
