Antenna Cable

You need to remove the rear sail panels and rear assist handles first before proceeding with u2k rpo code digital radio coaxial cable substitution. Avoid impacting the headliner at this point. Detach the Antenna Cable from clamps 2 and 3 then disconnect it from above the am/fm Antenna module while removing the foam sealing tape. The radio Antenna connector must be removed while a wire or string needs to be attached to the Antenna Cable end. The process begins with removing the left rear compartment trim panel and disconnecting the Antenna Cable connection to the digital receiver. Use your fingers to remove the Antenna Cable from its clips while you pull the cable through to the rear compartment then take off the wire or string from the cable before leaving your vehicle. Affix a wire or string to your new cable before you slowly pull the Antenna Cable into the passenger area. To install the Antenna Cable connect its connection to the digital receiver then attach the cable to the rear compartment hold-down clips. Proceed with installing the left rear compartment trim panel and connect the antennae connectors to the digital radio Antenna before covering the connection with foam tape. Use the Antenna Cable connection to position above the am/fm Antenna module followed by attaching the Antenna Cable to locating clips on both the roof and third pillar . After aligning the headliner on the roof panel replace the rear assist handles and rear sail panels.

Position the carpet back over the vehicle wiring harness, route the antenna cable to the antenna module, and connect it.

Disconnect the radio antenna coaxial cable from the antenna module and separate it from the wiring harness and cable clips above the rear shelf panel, cutting the end of the radio antenna cable off at the rear shelf area of the harness.

Disconnect the radio antenna extension cable from the antenna cable, then pull up the front and rear carpet on the left side to expose the vehicle wiring harness and remove the vehicle harness conduit cover.
