How to replace the rear Trunk Lock Cylinder on Buick Park Avenue? Posted by Customer
    A:
The rear compartment lid lock cylinder needs replacing through these steps: first take the back up lamp assembly and rear compartment lid trim off. You need to remove the three nuts holding the lock cylinder to the lid. After that, take out the lock cylinder from the lid. To install the lock cylinder put it onto the lid and keep the fastener notice area of cautions and notices in mind. Arrest the lock cylinder to the lid with three nuts then press them to torque levels of 9 n.m (80 lb in). Reinstall the back up lamp first and then put back the rear compartment lid trim.
