Work on the Fuel Filler Hose requires no smoking or open flames and disconnecting the negative Battery Cable (unless you need battery voltage). First remove the fuel fill cap after which you should dismantle the Fuel Tank fill pipe housing to Fuel Tank fill pipe bolts before draining the Fuel Tank. The first step involves removing the left rear wheel and tire while the following step entails the removal of the left rear wheelhouse liner panel. Secure the Fuel Tank fill hose clamp at the tank with 3.3 n.m (29 lb in) torque and put on the Fuel Tank fill pipe bracket bolt which requires a torque of 12 n.m (106 lb in). The installation procedure continues with steps to replace the left rear wheelhouse liner panel and left rear wheel and tire. The technician should then lower the vehicle before finalizing the process by installing the Fuel Tank fill pipe housing to Fuel Tank fill pipe bolts and tightening them to 2 n.m (18 lb in) as well as installing the fuel fill cap.

The last installation step involves mounting the Fuel Tank fill pipe housing to its bolts with 2 nm force (18 lb in torque) before securing the fuel fill cap.

Lower the car then put back the left rear wheelhouse liner panel along with the left rear wheel and tire. Finish the installation by first mounting the Fuel Tank fill pipe housing to its corresponding bolts before executing a 2 nm (18 lb in) torque on the bolts followed by installation of the fuel fill cap.

Lower the automobile while putting back the left rear wheelhouse liner panel followed by the left wheel and tire. As the last step install the Fuel Tank fill pipe housing while fastening the Fuel Tank fill pipe bolts with 2 n.m (18 lb in) torque and secure the fuel fill cap.
