    Service of the cruise control module requires upper fender brace assembly bolt removal and upper fender brace assembly subsequent removal. Disconnection of the electrical connector at the cruise control module should be followed by removing the nuts which secure the module to the cowl. The cruise control cable requires disconnection from the module before drivers extract the cruise control module from their vehicle. Install the cruise control module by repositioning it within the vehicle followed by attaching its cruise control cable. Fasten and tighten the nuts which secure the cruise control module onto the cowl with 9 N.m tension (80 pound inch). After reconnecting the electrical connector at the cruise control module, reinstall and tighten the brace bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Next, remove the cruise control cable from the device by using the suitable procedure for V8 or V6 replacement. After removing the cruise control module from the vehicle, install it back into the vehicle and connect the cruise control cable and end it using the relevant replacement procedure. Install the nuts to hold the cruise control module to cowl, and tighten to 9N.m or 80 lb in and reconnect the electrical connector at the cruise control module. Lastly, re-install the brace and bolt it tightly to 9 N.m (8 lb ft).

Fasten the cruise control module to the cowl by installing nuts which need to be tightened to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Secure the electrical connector at the cruise control module by reattaching the brace while bolting it to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
