    To replace the wiper motor, first, the wiper drive system module should be taken off, then take off the wiper crank arm nut the wiper motor shaft and also take off the wiper crank arm off the wiper motor shaft. Next, unscrew wiper motor screws from wiper motor then wiper motor will be removed from wiper module. For wiper motion it is necessary to follow the wiper drive system module to the wiper motor position following Fastener Notice in Service Precautions and install the screws to tighten the wiper motor to a tightness of 7 N.m (62 lb in). Finally, mount the wiper crank arm on wiper motor shaft and lock it in place through the wiper crank arm nut, tightening it up 30 N.m (157 lb ft). Lastly, replace the wiper drive system module.

    Start the replacement by taking away the wiper drive system module. Detach the wiper crank arm from the wiper motor shaft by taking out the wiper crank arm nut . Loosen the wiper motor screws to take off the wiper motor from its socket at the wiper module. Align the wiper motor with the wiper drive system module before attaching it with the specified screws and screwing them to 7 N.m torque (62 lb in). Place the wiper crank arm onto the motor shaft and thread on the wiper crank arm nut until it reaches 30 N.m (22 lb ft) of torque. Reinstall the wiper drive system module after completion.
