    Q:
How to replace the blower motor on Chevrolet Malibu? Posted by Customer
    A:
To fix the blower motor start by taking off the right closeout panel and unplugging the wire harness connector from the motor. Make straight cuts carefully near the blower motor part allowing enough space to prevent damaging the motor cup when replacing it. Insert a utility knife through the narrow blower motor groove in the lower case and cut it out before removing the motor. Start by attaching the motor blower seal before inserting the blower motor unit. Before using the previous blower motor put on the attachment ring and secure its screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in) while following the Fastener Notice guidelines. Reattach the blower motor wire harness connector and put back the right closeout panel as the last step.
