Filler Neck

Fuel Tank draining starts at one-half of the tank level when necessary for the replacement. You should reach for the fuel filler cap and smoothly lift the vehicle in the air. Remove the fuel filler pipe shield by releasing its two catches then remove the shield from its position. Detach the Fuel Filler Hose together with the Fuel Tank breather hose and the orvr vapor hose from where they join the fuel filler pipe . Shove the rubber grommet toward the outside from the fuel filler pipe neck which exists in the fuel filler door compartment. Start by removing two bolts from the fuel filler pipe bracket and afterward complete the removal of both bracket and fuel filler pipe from the vehicle. Reinstallation of the fuel filler pipe starts by placing it properly within the vehicle then positioning the rubber grommet at the neck area. Fasten the fuel filler pipe bracket using a bolt while tightening it to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Affix the fuel filler pipe to its bracket using two bolts which must be tightened to 6 n.m (53 lb in). You should restore connection for the Fuel Tank breather hose and the orvr vapor hose to the fuel filler pipe then attach the Fuel Filler Hose. The process ends with attaching the fuel filler pipe shield and lowering the vehicle and then tank filling before installing the fuel filler cap. The last step involves leaking fuel check.
