    Wash the Power Steering Pump housing completely before hose and pipe removal while placing a drain pan beneath to collect fluid leakage. Start by unfastening the hose clamp followed by taking off the power steering reservoir outlet hose from its position on the pump. The procedure starts with removing the reservoir along with its outlet hose from the vehicle. The procedure begins by detaching the fitting at both the Power Steering Pump and inlet hose leading to the power steering gear. After that remove the two gaskets along with the inlet hose from the pump. The Power Steering Pressure Switch connector must be disconnected before you remove the Power Steering Pump Drive Belt. Remove the pump from the vehicle after you have taken out its 2 retaining bolts. The Power Steering Pump mounting process involves installing it back into the vehicle bracket through attaching the two bolts that require tightening to 25 nm (18.5 ft. Lbs.). After reconnecting the Power Steering Pressure Switch connector you will install the power steering gear inlet hose to the pump with two gaskets and a fitting which needs to be tightened to 60 nm (43.5 ft. Lbs.). The reservoir goes back into the vehicle where the outlet hose receives connection to the pump before applying the hose clamp for closure. The Drive Belt for the Power Steering Pump should be reinstalled afterward you should add power steering fluid into the reservoir while performing a bleed operation on the power steering system.
