How to replace the outlet radiator hose (LA3, LY9) on Cadillac CTS? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement of the radiator outlet hose (LA3, LY9) requires draining the cooling system as the first step. Hose clamp pliers (J38185) should be used for removing the radiator outlet hose from the cooling pipe. Properly position the hose clamp pliers (J37097-A) for detachment of the Radiator Hose. The new radiator outlet hose needs positioning before installation into the vehicle. Use hose clamp pliers (J38185) to connect the hose between the radiator and the required positions while also installing the air deflector. The hose clamp pliers (J38185) needs to be used for a second time to link the hose to the cooling pipe after filling the cooling system.
