Upper Hose

The replacement process of radiator outlet hose begins with draining the cooling system. The first task requires lifting the vehicle while providing it with proper support. You must use j 38185 - hose clamp pliers to loosen the clamp on the radiator outlet hose at the radiator before removing the hose from its position. The radiator outlet hose bracket retainer needs removal before using j 38185 - hose clamp pliers to loosen the clamp at the Thermostat Housing and extract the hose from its position. By using j 38185 hose clamp pliers to loosen tension on the radiator outlet hose clamp at the Engine Oil Cooler, the technician will detach the hose from the cooler. The last step ends with extracting the radiator outlet hose from the automobile. The installation process requires users to lubricate the new hose internal diameters with clean coolant before attaching the radiator outlet hose to the vehicle with the Engine Oil Cooler connection as the first step while tightening the clamp. The hose needs to connect to the Thermostat Housing with clamp tension engaged. The radiator outlet hose bracket retainer should be installed before attaching the hose to the radiator while applying clamp tension. Lower the vehicle and proceed with filling the cooling system.

Disengage tension on the radiator inlet hose clamp at the engine and remove the radiator inlet hose from the engine, followed by removing the radiator inlet hose from the vehicle.
