You must stop the parking brake cable adjuster before starting. Position the vehicle on jacks and lift it up before taking off the tire and wheel unit. Secure the brake caliper from falling using mechanic wire to protect the brake hose system. Take off the brake caliper and bracket assembly from the caliper hose without disconnecting it. Keep a record of disc position before reusing the original disc. To proceed take off both the Brake Disc bolt and Brake Disc. When adding a new Brake Disc you should wipe its contact surfaces using denatured alcohol. Use the ch-42450-a (Wheel Hub Resurfacing Kit) to wipe away rust from this part's surface. The ch-41013 (Disc Resurfacing Kit) helps prepare the opposite surface of the disc. Readjust the parking brake before fitting the Brake Disc. Position the unit as done during replacement if rehanging the initial disc. Fit the Brake Disc's bolt in place and fasten it to 9 nm torque (80 lb in). Measure how much the Brake Disc wobbles side to side when installed; fix it when the results go beyond acceptable limits. You should wipe denatured alcohol on both the brake caliper bracket bolts and threaded holes before placing threadlocker on two-thirds of the threads and letting it dry for 10 minutes. Position the brake caliper and bracket assembly. Install its bolts and tighten them to 81 lb ft (110 Nm). Reinstall the tire and wheel parts while setting the parking brake control to its original position.

Mark its relationship to the wheel hub, then remove the brake rotor bolt and the brake rotor.
