Begin by disconnecting the fasteners which connect the rear fascia to the quarter panel then use a lifting mechanism to gain access to the necessary areas. Use a screwdriver to eliminate the screws inside the rear wheel opening then take out the center pins from the four retaining tabs to unfasten the lower part of the rear fascia. When detaching the fascia use protective coverings to prevent damage before both corners of the quarter panel receive assistance away from its position at the center of the rear impact bar. First disconnect the electrical connector before you take out the rear license plate lamp socket together with the bulb and then detach the rear fascia brackets. Begin by installing the rear fascia brackets to the fascia before you install the rear license plate lamp socket along with its bulb and reconnect the electrical connector. Utilize helper assistance to position the rear fascia along the rear impact bar center before you attach both corners on the quarter panel. Secure the lower center tabs using push pin fasteners according to fastener precautions before installing the rear wheel opening screws and tightening them to 3 n.m (27 lb in). After lowering the car you should connect screws which join the rear fascia parts to the quarter panel while the torque should remain at 3 n.m (27 lb in). Return the rear compartment trim in place when needed before securing the rear compartment lid.
