How to replace the rear wheel speed sensor on GMC Acadia? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by raising the vehicle and removing the tire along with the wheel. Pull off the Wheel Speed Sensor electrical connector then pull the Wheel Speed Sensor wire harness grommet from its bracket on the lower control arm. Separate the Wheel Speed Sensor wire harness connectors from the suspension link while cleaning all dirt and residue from the wheel knuckle mounting area. Use a lifted tool to take out the mounting bolt and raise the Wheel Speed Sensor directly upward from the wheel knuckle. Put the new strip in the wheel knuckle then install the Wheel Speed Sensor bolt while making sure it reaches 6 n.m of torque. Reconnect the Wheel Speed Sensor wire harness routing clips to the top suspension link part and fit the grommet back in its place on the lower Control Arm Bracket. Finally secure the wheel sensor electrical connection then put back the tire and wheel before conducting diagnostic system check - vehicle tests.
