    Start by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable before replacing an automatic a/c engine Coolant Temperature Sensor. Start by taking off the heater core cover followed by disconnecting the electrical connector. Reset the automatic a/c engine Coolant Temperature Sensor by uninstalling the retaining screws before sliding the sensor out of its position on the heater core pipe. Follow installation instructions by inserting the sensor to its proper spot and using retaining screws to secure it while tightening the screws correctly. First reconnect the electrical connector followed by heater core cover reinstallation before reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
