The front upper speaker replacement process starts by taking off the end cap from the instrument panel side followed by pulling out the tweeter speaker wire clip from the panel. After disconnecting the wire from the i/p electrical harness, remove the windshield molding before continuing. Pull the speaker wire through the i/p before pulling out the speaker from the vehicle. You should slide the wire down through the i/p as you position the speaker at the i/p end cap location. Insert the wire to the i/p harness before pressing the wire clip onto the i/p followed by pressing the end cap onto the i/p. The installation process ends with pushing the speaker until it sits tightly on the garnish molding while installing the windshield garnish molding.

First, take out the amplifier for access, then disconnect the speaker electrical connector. Next, remove the push pin retainers and lower the speaker, rotating it 90 degrees and tilting it to extract it through the amplifier bracket opening.

Pull the speaker wire up through the I/P and then remove the speaker from the vehicle.

Disconnect the speaker wire from the I/P electrical harness and remove the windshield garnish molding.

Connect the wire to the I/P harness, press the wire clip onto the I/P, and then press the end cap onto the I/P.

Lower the right speaker for removal.

Tighten them to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

Tilt the left speaker and slide it through the amplifier bracket opening, turning it 90 degrees before installing the push pin retainers and reconnecting the speaker electrical connectors.

Install the fasteners and tighten them to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

Insert the speaker tabs into the openings in the rear window panel and engage the speaker retainer.

Install the fasteners and tighten them to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

Disconnect the speaker electrical connector and remove the push pin retainers.

Tilt it, slide it through the opening in the amplifier bracket, and turn it 90 degrees before installing the push pin retainers.
