    Q:
How to replace the rear door upper auxiliary Weather Strip on Buick Park Avenue? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement process of the rear door upper auxiliary Weather Strip demands initial removal of the inside door handle bezel together with the door trim panel and water deflector. Remove successively the window inner belt seal and the window outer belt seal before you take off the door window and the rear door stationary window. The next step requires the removal of auxilliary Weather Strip fasteners (1-7) from the rear door upper area before gently detaching the strip from the door header. Start installation by placing the Weather Strip lip on top of the door header flange then align the front hole with the door header plastic nut while rolling the Weather Strip onto the flange keeping an outward tension on the lip to stop tucking. Install the door to Door Seal beginning from the top before you verify that the front fastener's hole matches with the plastic nut. Connect the auxiliary Weather Strip fasteners beginning with the front piece and tighten to 0.8-1 n.m (7-9 lb in). Reinstalation requires the front door stationary window followed by the door window and then the window outer belt seal followed by the window inner belt seal after which the water deflector and door trim panel should be installed.
