A vehicle needs to be properly suspended while raising it in accordance with the Catalytic Converter movement notice in service precautions before hanger bracket replacement of the exhaust muffler (Pipe Rear Hanger Bracket). The exhaust system needs support then you must remove the exhaust pipe rear hanger insulator from the exhaust pipe rear hanger bracket before taking out both the exhaust pipe rear hanger bolt and exhaust pipe rear hanger bracket. Secure your exhaust pipe operation with the exhaust pipe rear hanger bracket followed by installation of the exhaust pipe rear hanger bolt at 25 nm torque (18.4 ft. Lbs.). Fasten the exhaust pipe rear hanger insulator onto the exhaust pipe rear hanger bracket after which you must remove the support from the exhaust system and check for leaks and underbody contact before letting the vehicle down.
