Surface the bolt to gain access to disconnect the hose assembly which sits atop the compressor and afterwards extract the sealing washers. The dual o-ring separator (J 38042) can separate the hose assembly from the accumulator so users can remove the o-ring seals from the accumulator hose. The next step involves disconnecting the condenser hose assembly before extracting the o-ring seal from the condenser hose while properly capping or plugging open connections. To install the new o-ring seal apply 525 viscosity refrigerant oil to it and mount it to the condenser hose followed by connecting the hose assembly to the condenser while tightening to 45 n.m (33 lb ft). The new dual o-ring seals need 525 viscosity refrigerant oil for coating before being installed onto accumulator hose assemblies which should be tightened to 34 n.m (25 lb ft). Round the hose assembly to the compressor top and attach it while the bolt reaches its torque setting of 34 n.m (25 lb ft). The installation process concludes by putting on the grille followed by negative cable reconnection then system charging and leak detection.
