Start the procedure by removing the air cleaner after which you should detach the a/c refrigerant pressure switch from the evaporator inlet tube. The evaporator inlet tube requires detachment from the bulkhead fitting before being disconnected from its receiver-dryer outlet pipe fitting that resides in front of the condenser fan. First remove the evaporator inlet tube from its clip at the inner fender then take it out of the vehicle. To install new o-rings you should apply mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil before mounting them onto the evaporator inlet pipe. Tighten the receiver-dryer outlet pipe fitting at 35 n.m (26 lb ft) after you attach it to the evaporator inlet tube at the inner fender retaining clip. To install continue by fitting the evaporator inlet tube to the bulkhead fitting and tighten it with 35 n.m (26 lb ft). The a/c refrigerant pressure switch should be fitted onto the evaporator inlet pipe while reinstalling the air cleaner. Complete the evacuation process of the a/c system followed by recharging it and perform a leak test during operation.
