Service of the engine oil dip stick and dip stick tube requires removing the oil level indicator from the guide tube next to uninstalling one retaining bolt and guide tube from the cylinder block and finally taking out the guide tube seal from the cylinder block. Start with placing the new guide tube seal onto the cylinder block before returning the guide tube to its position on the cylinder block. Use one bolt to secure and tighten the guide tube as 11 nm (97 inch lbs.). Begin the engine and inspect for guide tube leaks after reinstalling the indicator on the tube then tightening the drive bolt to 11 nm (97 inch lbs.).
