• Q: How to replace the front bumper fascia on 2000 Chevrolet Tracker?

  A: The replacement process starts with the removal of headlamps and front side marker lamps before proceeding to remove seven plastic retainers located at the top section of the front Bumper fascia. There are 7 plastic retainers along the top that need to be eliminated to remove the front Bumper fascia. After vehicle bolting and suitable suspension lift take out the bolt and plastic retainer which hold the front Bumper fascia in place at each side then remove the three bolts at the bottom. Removal of the front Bumper fascia from the vehicle occurs by sliding it forward. Install the front Bumper fascia by placing it onto the vehicle with the correct routing of the front side marker lamps wiring harness and securing it with bottom 3 bolts at 15 n.m (11 lb ft). Allow the bolt alongside the plastic retainer at each side then secure with a bolt torque of 15 n.m (11 lb ft). Lower the vehicle to install all 7 plastic retainers along the top fixture. Reinstall the front side marker lamps and the headlamps as the last step.
