  A: The first step for taillamp assembly or back up and sidemarker and stop and turn signal bulb replacement involves opening the rear compartment lid and removing both the cargo net and its retaining components. Folding down the rear compartment trim exposes the taillamp nuts. When you remove these nuts and disconnect the electrical connector from the taillamp you can proceed. Push the tabs to free the circuit board then remove the taillamp bulb from its socket. To install the new taillamp bulb push it into position until it reaches full depth before inserting the circuit board into the taillamp retainers then fully seat the tabs. First lock the electrical connector onto the taillamp before placing the taillamp into the quarter panel. Finally, hand-tighten the taillamp nuts. Position the rear compartment trim as it should be then install the rear cargo net retainers and secure them loosely before attaching the net to the retainers before shutting the rear compartment lid.
