How to replace the radiator hose outlet on 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

As a first step to replace the Radiator outlet hose users need to drain the cooling system. Hose clamp pliers (J 38185) allow you to move the hose clamp away from the water pump housing before you can disengage the Radiator outlet hose from the water pump housing. To start the process elevate the vehicle then take the lower air deflector off the Radiator. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) should be used to reposition the hose clamp from the Radiator before the removal of the Radiator outlet hose from both the Radiator and the vehicle. The installation process requires hose alignment and placement of the Radiator outlet hose to the Radiator through hose clamp pliers (J 38185) usage to hold and secure the hose clamp onto the Radiator. Return the Radiator lower air deflector and then continue by lowering the vehicle before connecting the Radiator outlet hose to the water pump housing. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) should be used twice to properly install a hose clamp first on the water pump housing then on the Radiator. Afterwards, complete cooling system refilling and conduct leak inspections.
