Start by removing the two retaining screws that hold the right air temperature switch assembly in place before you can pull out the assembly. The installation procedure requires the right air temperature switch assembly to be placed in the trim plate yet Fastener Notice in Service Precautions must be followed. Install screws into the assembly until reaching 1.4 N.m (12 lb in) before reinstalling the IP trim plate.
