You must remove the HO2S by using the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B). Workers should apply anti-seize compound GM P/N 5613695 to the threads before reinstallation of the sensor. Use the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to install the HO2S then apply torque to 42 N.m (31 lb ft). Connect the HO2S harness connector and put away the vehicle.
