How to replace the front door interior door handle on 2002 Chevrolet Camaro?

You should start by both raising the window and removing the front side door trim with its inside handle seal joined to the water deflector. A 3/16 drill bit and drill permits drill out of the inside handle rivet which lets you remove the handle tab from the door inner panel slot by sliding the handle back. The inside handle rod must be detached from its fastener on the clip before you take it out from the clip. Squeeze and push the inside handle rod clip from the handle with needlenose pliers following the removal of the inside handle from the door inner panel. To put in the inside handle rod clip begin by inserting it into the handle and afterward rotate the handle front section to align with the slot of the door inner panel. Put the inside handle rod in place on the clip before inserting the handle into the slot while rotating and sliding it forward. Verify that the hole in the handle matches up with the door inner panel hole. Attach the handle rivet to the handle while simultaneously installing the water deflector and inside handle seal and front-side door trim. Finally, lower the window.
