Start the lumbar switch replacement by removing the outer seat cushion trim panel. Begin by removing screws from the lumbar control switch before removing this switch from the panel of the outside seat cushion trim. To install the lumbar control switch you should place it on the outer seat cushion trim panel and follow the instructions in the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Secure the screws onto the lumbar control switch afterward tightening them to 2 N.m (18 lb in). Reinstall the outer seat cushion trim panel as the last step.
