How to replace the rear door window channel on 2002 Chevrolet Prizm?

The first step to replace the window guide channel in the rear door involves removing the rear side door trim. A person can open the access to the center guide channel screw by first loosening both the rubber window run channel at the rear door weather strip and center guide channel. Start by removing the screw which keeps the center guide channel in place then separate these components from the rear door : the 2 bolts (1, 3) and the center guide channel. Secure the center guide channel to the rear door by attaching it with the 2 bolts (1, 3) and screw before tightening the bolts to 8 n.m (71 lb in). The rubber window run channel should be installed into the center guide channel after which you should reposition the rear door weather strip onto the door surface. Lastly reinstall the rear side door trim.
