How to replace the engine flywheel on 2002 Chevrolet Tracker?

The engine Flywheel replacement process begins by removing the transmission from the vehicle followed by removing the Pressure Plate together with the Clutch Disc from the Flywheel. Remove the 6 Flywheel retaining bolts before the Flywheel can be detached from the Crankshaft. Before attaching the Flywheel to the Crankshaft you should apply just enough sealant around the fastener to stop improper fitting or loosening that causes extreme engine damage. The Flywheel retaining bolts require gm p/n 12345493 (equivalent to Canadian P/N 10953488) for the threads before bolt installation and torque them to 78 nm (58 ft. Lbs.). Reinstallation of both Pressure Plate and Clutch Disc onto the Flywheel should happen before transmission reinstallation back to the vehicle.
