Fit rubber plugs first before removing the brake master cylinder nuts and bolts, then take the master cylinder out. Empty all brake fluid from the reservoir and take the reservoir off when replacing the master cylinder. To set your new master cylinder in place position the reservoir beside it if required afterward fill the reservoir with brake fluid and perform a bench bleed procedure. Place the master cylinder into its vehicle place and fasten it with the bolts and nuts tightened to 36 N.m force. Put brake lines rubber plugs aside and join the brake pipes to the master cylinder. Tighten pipe nuts to 22 lb ft or 30 N.m pressure. Complete the brake bleed process as the final step.
