How to remove and install the positive Battery Cable and its connections on 2002 GMC Envoy?

The removal of the positive cable requires starting with disconnecting the battery negative terminal before removing the positive cable from the battery. Proceed by disconnecting the harness from the engine harness bracket and then disconnecting the positive cable lead from Starter and junction block and generator. The new positive cable goes to the generator where you should secure it with the nut while tightening the positive cable bolt to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Fasten and tighten the positive cable to the junction block by using the bolt to a torque value of 10 n.m (89 lb in). Facilitate the positive cable attachment to the Starter by tightening it with the supplied nut up to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Attach the harness to its spot on the engine harness bracket while connecting a cable to the positive battery post then fasten the positive battery bolt to 15 n.m (11 lb ft). Reestablish the connection of the battery negative cable.
